Our Story

During a four-year stint in Africa, sometime while strolling the local markets, I conceived of a concept.

An insatiable quest for unique beads and gemstones, defining aesthetics and creating whimsical designs in my mind. The seed of BeadsMyth was planted.

Since then, my creative flow couldn’t be contained. My creative instincts sprouted from daily life in Africa and were later shaped in my studio, where my designs grew and flourished into unique bespoke jewellery.

What began as a hobby a decade ago took me to countries that I have never been to. The busy streets and vibrant markets of Ethiopia, Tanzania, Ghana and the Ivory Coast, among others, make my fondest memories and an unparalleled learning experience. Every piece handcrafted at BeadsMyth weaves its unique tale from origination. In no time, I  started working with artisans from Tibet, Afghanistan, Turkey, Indonesia, and India.

With an intent to uplift artisans around the globe and to support slow and sustainable fashion, I travel and source unique stones based on what different countries have to offer. With an intricate manipulation of diverse raw materials such as glass, semi-precious stones, pearls and brass, the BeadsMyth collections begin to takes shape.
